The Data and AI Governance Analyst supports responsible data use, stronger governance arrangements and informed decision-making across Heathrow.
The role works across data, technology, cybersecurity, legal, procurement and data protection teams.
Responsibilities
- Deliver Data and AI governance capabilities and controls with relevant enterprise stakeholders.
- Analyse platforms and products to identify improvements in governance, data quality, accountability and responsible use.
- Drive governance policies, standards, guidance and operating procedures from drafting through implementation and monitoring.
- Assess AI use cases and technology initiatives for responsible deployment and alignment with regulatory, ethical and organisational requirements.
- Lead governance change activities, stakeholder engagement, communications, awareness and control adoption.
- Articulate the financial and operational value of governance beyond compliance.
Requirements
- Experience in data and AI management, governance, risk, compliance or assurance and the ability to turn control findings into risks, recommendations and actions.
- Experience contributing to policy, standards, procedures or guidance and embedding processes, controls, technologies or working practices.
- Ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders and communicate findings clearly.
- Knowledge of cloud data platforms, governance tooling, data management practices and AI governance methodologies.
- Awareness of UK GDPR, Data Protection Act 2018, NIS2, ISO 27001, ISO/IEC 42001, EU AI Act and NIST AI RMF.
Desirable experience
- Experience in aviation, transport, critical national infrastructure or another regulated environment is desirable.
- Experience supporting data, information, cyber or AI governance, compliance or assurance capabilities is desirable.
