Role overview

The Quality Engineer – Business Continuity Management Lead develops, implements, and improves technical quality and business continuity solutions across the Dubai campus.

  • Assess risks across processes, equipment, product flows, utilities, suppliers, and technical infrastructure.
  • Design and validate mitigation, recovery, and contingency solutions that protect quality, manufacturing readiness, and customer supply.
  • Use risk analysis, PFMEA, 8D, A3, and root cause analysis to address continuity risks and recurring quality or process vulnerabilities.
  • Define requirements, validation criteria, quality gates, and acceptance standards for continuity and recovery solutions.
  • Write plans for restoring critical processes or resuming them at another site within a defined timeframe.
  • Lead business impact assessments and turn identified risks into mitigation plans, recovery strategies, and validation activities.
  • Coordinate with engineering, quality, industrialization, sales, and customer-facing teams to protect products, processes, services, and customer commitments.
  • Support ProLaunch, new product introduction, and product transfers through risk assessment and manufacturing-readiness validation before production release.
  • Standardize engineering practices, documentation, and lessons learned across the campus and relevant Eaton entities.
  • Lead deployment, governance, and continuous improvement of the campus continuity management system.
  • Represent Business Continuity Management in internal, external, and customer audits, providing engineering evidence of risk assessments, controls, recovery solutions, and validation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Quality, Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or another relevant engineering discipline.
  • At least 5 years of relevant engineering experience in quality, manufacturing, industrialization, business continuity, engineering risk management, or technical program management in the electronics or electrical products industry.
  • Lead or internal auditor qualifications for ISO 22301 and ISO 9001 are required.
