What you’ll do:

The Project Sales Engineer will handle all projects business and sale of Eaton products (LV switchgear systems & components, Busway, ATS,..) in the assigned territory, work closely with different size MEP contractors, consultants & end users, and provide technical support on offers through licensed or authorized panel builders.

The incumbent’s prime responsibility is to ensure that Eaton meets the customer satisfaction levels for Eaton products (LV switchgear systems & components, Busway, ATS,..) and ensure growth in the defined region, whilst applying Eaton standard work practice, developing new channels, and support promoting Eaton brand name accross different segments.

Main Responsibilities:

Meet or exceed assigned sales targets in line with organizational strategic objectives.

Manage relationships with contractors, consultants, and end users within the assigned territory.

Conduct weekly customer visits and submit weekly planning reports.

Drive sales and business development activities in the Saudi market.

Follow up on projects and support opportunities through appropriate channels and panel builders.

Promote Eaton products and solutions.

Develop relationships with new customers across targeted business segments.

Build and maintain a healthy project pipeline.

Support the implementation of marketing and growth plans.

Monitor market intelligence, trends, competitors, market drivers, SWOT analysis, and product and market developments.

Maintain strong internal relationships to ensure customer satisfaction.

Provide timely and accurate updates on existing and upcoming opportunities using reliable sources.

Submit required reports and surveys within specified deadlines.

Comply with company policies, guidelines, and instructions.

Perform additional tasks assigned by management as required.

Identify and develop business opportunities at an early stage.

Understand the value proposition and provide competitor structure analyses for each opportunity.

Demonstrate Eaton’s values, philosophies, and high ethical standards.

Liaise with prescription and panel builder technical teams to secure major opportunities.

Promote Eaton’s full portfolio, including LSD and PQ, and differentiate Eaton’s offering in the market.

Qualifications:

  • BSc Degree in Electrical engineering
  • 6-8 years of electrical engineering sales experience, preferably in Riyadh

Skills:

  • Demonstrates the ability to develop and execute market strategies.
  • Has experience managing projects and working with contractors and end users.
  • Has experience in the LV switchgear business, including LV breakers and components, Busway, ATS, and related products.
  • Demonstrates strong knowledge of the assigned market, sales channels, and product portfolio.
  • Works effectively with customers, colleagues, and other company personnel.
  • Understands and practices effective communication both internally and externally.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English
  • Demonstrates strong teamwork and a collaborative mindset.
