Quality Engineer

Role overview

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, implement, and maintain the Project Quality Plan and implement the quality management system based on ISO 9001:2015.
• Prepare Inspection and Test Plans, method statements, and quality procedures.
• Perform installation quality control and prepare SAT/FAT inspection procedures.
• Conduct internal and external audits; manage non-conformances, root-cause analysis, and corrective and preventive actions.
• Conduct vendor quality surveillance and quality-related risk assessments.
• Maintain quality records, document control, and the Lessons Learned Register.
• Prepare weekly and monthly quality reports, monitor KPIs, and report performance to Project Management.

Education, qualifications, and experience

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Mandatory ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor or Internal Auditor certification.
• Five to seven years of experience in utility-related projects.
• Excellent knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 and utility quality requirements.
• Strong auditing, analytical, problem-solving, report-writing, technical documentation, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and document management systems.
• A valid UAE driving license is preferred.
