Quality Controller

About This Role

We are an established engineering service company seeking a Quality Controller to join our team for Third-Party Inspection & Calibration. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring compliance with ISO 17020, 17025, and IMS standards while maintaining the highest level of quality across all operations.

Job Location : Muscat - Oman

Visa preferred: Visit or Cancelled.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure all operational activities comply with the quality requirements of ISO 17020, ISO 17025, and IMS.
• Develop and manage QHSE standards, policies, and systems in alignment with UAE regulations and international standards.
• Maintain external accreditations and certifications, including EIAC, ENAS, TRAKHEES, LEEA, and client approvals.
• Coordinate and schedule audits (17020, 17025, IMS, and technical audits) and provide support to ensure compliance.
• Assist Operations and Technical Managers in reviewing QMS-controlled documents to prevent non-conformances.
• Manage internal QHSE audit programs and ensure adherence to relevant standards.
• Oversee staff and subcontractor qualifications and competencies, while addressing complaints and appeals.
• Conduct management review meetings to discuss quality objectives, audit outcomes, customer feedback, and other key issues.
• Provide regular technical and management system reports to top management.
• Ensure equipment calibration and identify customer requirements and expectations.
• Maintain quality reports, statistical reviews, and related documentation.
• Facilitate prompt and effective corrective actions for internal audit findings.
• Verify inspection-related documents and coordinate job orders with the Chief Engineer.
• Collaborate with Technical and Operations teams to manage schedules.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 1-2 years of experience as a Quality Controller.
• Hands-on experience with third-party inspections, ISO 17020/17025, and EIAC audits/certifications is highly advantageous.
• Familiarity with relevant QHSE standards, such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and others.
• Additional certifications will be an added advantage.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
