Quality Controller – Wooden Factory
About This Role
Job Description Royal Joinery has its own dedicated workshop to assist clients on high-profile projects that require international expertise and a degree of workmanship that eliminates the need to source subcontractors and third-party furniture suppliers. Our primary focus is on carpentry and woodwork specialties across various projects and sectors through the delivery of sophisticated, qualified experts in their field and innovative techniques and equipment.
We are looking for an experienced Quality Controller to ensure that all wooden products meet the required quality standards and specifications. The role involves inspecting raw materials, monitoring production processes, and checking finished wooden items to ensure compliance with drawings, finishes, and client requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect raw wood, boards, and materials before production
- Monitor production processes in the wooden factory
- Ensure quality standards for joinery, finishing, polishing, and assembly
- Check dimensions, finishing, and workmanship as per drawings
- Identify defects and coordinate corrective actions with production teams
- Maintain quality inspection reports and records
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality procedures
Job requirements
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a wooden factory or joinery
- Strong knowledge of wood materials, finishes, and joinery processes
- Ability to read and understand shop drawings
- Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills
