Role overview

The employer is seeking an Arabic QA Tester to join its testing team in Dubai.

The role tests bilingual applications, websites, and digital platforms, with a focus on Arabic and English content, UI localization, and functional testing.

Contract and experience

  • The contract duration is 6 months, with extension possible.
  • The stated experience range is 4–6 years.
  • The employment type is contract.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze business requirements and prepare test scenarios and test cases.
  • Execute functional, regression, integration, UAT, and localization test plans.
  • Validate application content, workflows, and user interfaces in Arabic and English.
  • Validate translations in both Arabic-to-English and English-to-Arabic directions.
  • Identify, document, and track defects using defect management tools.
  • Retest resolved defects and perform regression testing to verify fixes.
  • Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, Product Owners, and Project Managers.
  • Maintain test execution reports and provide daily project status updates.
  • Track testing progress, update project metrics, and participate in defect triage.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and milestone reports for onsite and offshore Test Managers.

Mandatory qualifications

  • 4–6 years of software testing or QA experience.
  • Strong experience in Arabic localization testing and Arabic-English content and application validation.
  • Experience in functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing.
  • Understanding of right-to-left UI validation and Arabic linguistic testing.
  • Experience with defect management tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, HP ALM, or similar.
  • Strong analytical, debugging, and reporting skills.
  • Excellent communication skills in Arabic and English.
