Quality Assurance Manager – Logistics & Supply Chain
Job Purpose
We are seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to lead quality, regulatory, and compliance operations across our healthcare logistics and supply chain business.
The role will oversee QMS, audits, regulatory compliance, cold chain and warehouse standards, while ensuring full adherence to UAE healthcare regulations for Pharmaceuticals, Medical Devices, FMCG, and Healthcare products.
As the Pharmacist In Charge, the successful candidate will drive operational excellence, compliance, and continuous improvement across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
1.
Manage overall Quality Assurance operations for Pharmaceuticals, Medical Devices, FMCG, and Healthcare products in compliance with UAE regulatory requirements.
2.
Act as the Pharmacist In Charge and ensure compliance with MOHAP, Dubai Municipality, GDP/GSDP, and other applicable regulations.
3.
Lead and manage ISO audits, supplier audits, customer audits, and regulatory inspections.
4.
Ensure implementation and maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS) across warehouse and distribution operations.
5.
Handle import/export regulatory activities, permit coordination, customs documentation, and authority approvals.
6.
Review and approve SOPs, deviations, CAPA, change controls, risk assessments, and quality investigations.
7.
Manage product quality complaints, recalls, non-conformance investigations, and corrective actions with suppliers and principals.
8.
Monitor warehouse storage conditions, temperature control, transportation compliance, and overall product handling activities.
9.
Ensure compliance for cold chain products, controlled items, dangerous goods, and regulated healthcare products.
10.
Coordinate with MOHAP, Dubai Municipality, DHA, suppliers, principals, and other regulatory authorities for quality and compliance matters.
11.
Supervise QA activities related to product release, stock control, returns, damaged goods, and expiry management.
12.
Conduct internal quality trainings and ensure staff awareness regarding regulatory and quality requirements.
13.
Maintain QA documentation, audit reports, training records, licenses, and compliance-related documentation.
14.
Support continuous improvement initiatives related to quality systems, warehouse compliance, and operational controls.
15.
Lead cross-functional coordination with warehouse, operations, transport, procurement, and regulatory teams to maintain compliance standards.
Experience, Qualification & Skills
- 8–10 years total experience in Pharmaceutical Industry with minimum 4–5 years experience in Quality Assurance / GDP / Warehouse Quality / Pharmacist in Charge role in UAE pharmaceutical distribution sector.
- Licensed Pharmacist under Ministry of Health and Prevention (MOHAP)
- Certified Internal Auditor / Lead Auditor (ISO standards preferred)
- Six Sigma certification will be an added advantage
- Strong knowledge of GDP/GSDP, UAE regulatory requirements, and Quality Management Systems
- Experience in Pharmaceutical, Medical Device, FMCG, or Healthcare distribution operations
- Experience in handling ISO audits, supplier audits, and regulatory inspections
- Good knowledge in import/export regulatory processes and authority coordination
- Strong documentation, investigation, CAPA, and compliance management experience
- Good communication, leadership, and team coordination skills
