Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for an Environmental Health Specialist at ML Nashik.
The Environmental Health Specialist will assess and monitor environmental and occupational health conditions across virtual and on-ground activities, ensuring compliance with applicable health, safety, and environmental standards.
Daily responsibilities include reviewing project plans for environmental health risks, developing and implementing Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) procedures, and monitoring environmental compliance for organizational operations and events.
The specialist will conduct risk assessments, recommend preventive and corrective measures, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to integrate environmental and occupational health considerations into policies and workflows.
The role also involves preparing reports, maintaining documentation, providing training and guidance on EHS practices, and communicating findings and recommendations clearly to stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge and practical experience in Environmental Health and Environment Health and Safety (EHS).
- Experience with Environmental Compliance, including monitoring, reporting, and adherence to relevant regulations and standards.
- Background in Occupational Health, including risk assessment, hazard identification, and preventive measures.
- Effective Communication skills for reporting, training, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Environmental Health, Public Health, Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with data analysis, basic reporting tools, and documentation best practices.
- Experience with technology-focused or community-based organizations is an advantage.
