Role Description
The Owner of ML Nashik is responsible for leading and managing the community on a day-to-day basis in a full-time, remote capacity.
This role involves planning and organizing events, workshops, and online sessions, as well as coordinating speakers, partners, and community collaborations.
The Owner will curate and share educational content, maintain an active online presence across community channels, and ensure communications are timely and relevant.
They will engage with members to understand learning needs, foster an inclusive environment, and encourage participation and knowledge sharing.
The role also includes setting community goals, tracking growth and engagement metrics, managing basic operations, and representing ML Nashik in interactions with external stakeholders, sponsors, and the broader ML ecosystem.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in machine learning concepts and hands-on experience with TensorFlow or similar frameworks.
- Proven experience in community building, event organization, or technical meetups, preferably in a developer or ML community.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical topics clearly to diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently in a remote environment, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Comfort with online collaboration and communication tools (e.g., video conferencing, community platforms, social media, and productivity suites).
- Strong organizational and stakeholder management skills, including coordinating with volunteers, partners, and speakers.
- Commitment to inclusive, respectful, and non-discriminatory community practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
