A Dubai real estate developer seeks a QA/QC Manager to safeguard build quality across residential, branded-residence, and mixed-use projects from design through handover.
Quality management duties
- Define and enforce project quality standards, specifications, and the quality management system.
- Review and approve contractors’ quality plans, ITPs, method statements, and material submittals.
- Conduct site audits and inspections, and track NCRs and corrective actions through close-out.
- Review design and shop drawings for buildability and quality with design and project teams.
- Oversee mock-ups, testing, and commissioning, and witness key inspections.
- Lead pre-handover inspections, snagging, and defects management.
- Coordinate with Dubai Municipality, Civil Defence, DEWA, RERA, and other authorities.
- Report quality data and trends to senior management; lead and develop QA/QC engineers and inspectors.
Candidate qualifications
- Degree in civil, mechanical, electrical, or a related engineering discipline.
- 12+ years of construction QA/QC experience, including at least five years in a management role.
- Strong knowledge of Dubai authority requirements, ISO 9001, and international standards.
- Ability to challenge contractors and consultants, influence senior stakeholders, and maintain attention to finishing quality.
- Developer- or client-side experience is strongly preferred, ideally on high-rise, villa community, luxury, or branded-residence projects.
- Lead auditor certification and NEBOSH or IOSH are advantageous.
