We’re seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Analyst based in Doha to ensure our web and mobile products meet high standards for functionality, performance, and usability.
You’ll design and execute test plans, identify defects, work closely with developers, and help improve QA processes.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases for web and mobile applications.
- Create, maintain, and run regression suites; prioritize and track defects from discovery to resolution.
- Collaborate with product, development, and UX teams to define acceptance criteria and ensure requirements are testable.
- Triage incoming bugs, perform root-cause analysis, and verify fixes.
- Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives; provide input on release readiness.
- Contribute to test automation framework improvements and QA best practices.
- Produce clear test documentation and reports on quality metrics.
- Coordinate with regional stakeholders and ensure compliance with local regulations and data handling requirements.
Qualifications
- 2+ years experience in software QA or related role.
- Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
- Experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail) and defect-tracking.
- Familiarity with automation tools/frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium) and scripting (JavaScript, Python, or Java).
- Knowledge of API testing (Postman, RestAssured) and SQL for database validation.
- Excellent attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience preferred.
- English fluency required; Arabic proficiency is a plus.
- Eligible to work in Qatar or willing to relocate.
Job Type: Permanent
Pay: QAR55.20 - QAR75.25 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
