Role overview

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular QHSE inspections, site walks, audits, and compliance assessments across facilities management project sites.
• Monitor implementation of HSE policies, procedures, permits, risk assessments, and method statements.
• Identify unsafe acts, unsafe conditions, quality deficiencies, and non-compliance, and follow corrective and preventive actions through closure.
• Support investigations of incidents, accidents, near misses, and non-conformities, and prepare reports.
• Maintain QHSE documentation, inspection records, audit reports, training records, and compliance tracking systems.
• Facilitate toolbox talks, safety briefings, awareness campaigns, and site-level QHSE training.
• Coordinate QHSE matters with operations teams, maintenance personnel, supervisors, subcontractors, and client representatives.
• Ensure compliance with Saudi regulations, company standards, client requirements, and project-specific QHSE procedures.
• Monitor PPE compliance, work-at-height activities, electrical safety, housekeeping, waste management, emergency preparedness, and permit-to-work controls.
• Support internal and external audits and help close audit findings within agreed timelines.
• Promote a proactive safety culture and maintain QHSE discipline across site teams.
• Provide QHSE performance updates and recommendations to management to support continuous improvement.

Required qualifications and experience

• Diploma or bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, Environmental Science, Quality Management, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in QHSE or HSE roles.
• Experience in Facilities Management, Integrated Facilities Management, Operations and Maintenance, maintenance services, building services, or large operational project environments is required.
• Knowledge of site safety practices, risk assessments, incident and accident reporting, audits and inspections, and corrective and preventive action follow-up.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with project teams, supervisors, technicians, subcontractors, and client representatives.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and report preparation.
• Willingness and ability to work on-site and travel or relocate to project locations across Saudi Arabia as required.

Preferred qualifications and attributes

• Professional certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA, ISO 45001, ISO 9001, or ISO 14001 are preferred.
• A strong Facilities Management and Operations and Maintenance background is preferred.
