Senior QE engineers will build automated suites across products and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
What you will do
- Partner with developers, product managers, and business analysts to understand requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Automate functional, API, integration, regression, and end-to-end scenarios.
- Build scalable Playwright and TypeScript frameworks and scripts; develop automated API tests.
- Troubleshoot issues with developers and participate in Agile ceremonies.
- Maintain regression suites and integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Convert manual test cases into automated coverage and track fintech and QA trends.
What the employer is looking for
- 5–7+ years as a QA or QE engineer with substantial hands-on automation experience.
- Hands-on ability to write, debug, and review Playwright and TypeScript tests.
- Knowledge of automation-framework architecture, test design patterns, maintainability, and quality-engineering practices.
- Experience with API testing tools such as Postman and Swagger, and testing Salesforce and full-stack applications.
- Experience with GitHub, Bitbucket, SourceTree, Jira, Confluence, and Zephyr Scale.
- Agile and Scrum experience, analytical and problem-solving ability, attention to detail, and strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Financial-services experience is a plus; Python, SQL, JavaScript, and Selenium are listed as nice to have.
- Basic knowledge of security and performance testing.
