Responsibilities
- Review incoming leather goods against quality-control guidelines and determine acceptable condition.
- Inspect leather type, stitching, construction, hardware, and finishing.
- Measure, clean, prepare, and record product specifications and condition reports.
- Assist authenticators with authenticity checks and quality evaluations.
- Support client-condition queries and coordinate with photography, content, and customer-service teams.
- Help maintain condition-grading guidelines and quality benchmarks.
- Ensure proper product handling, care, and storage during inspection.
Requirements
- 1–2 years of relevant experience in leather goods, footwear, manufacturing, quality control, or shoe cobbling; freshers with strong attention to detail may be considered.
- Understand leather types, stitching, construction, and finishing of bags or shoes.
- Bring strong attention to detail, basic quality-control and grading knowledge, communication skills, and team coordination ability.
- Be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, reliable, quick to learn, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
