Role Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented QA Tester to join our team in Dubai, responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of software products before release.
This role plays a critical part in identifying defects early, improving product stability, and enhancing overall user experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, document, and execute test cases based on business and technical requirements
- Perform functional, regression, and exploratory testing across web and/or mobile applications
- Identify, log, and track defects using bug tracking tools, and verify fixes
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and business analysts to understand requirements
- Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and release readiness reviews
- Develop and maintain test plans, test scripts, and test data
- Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and provide clear defect reports
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes
- Experience with manual testing; familiarity with automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Postman) is a plus
- Proficiency in using bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional, agile teams
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- ISTQB certification or equivalent QA certification is preferred
- Solid understanding of SDLC and STLC processes
- Basic knowledge of SQL for data validation is an advantage
Experience Requirement
- 2+ years of experience in software quality assurance or testing roles
- Experience testing web and/or mobile applications in an agile environment preferred
