QA/QC Manager

Role overview

Qualifications and experience

• Civil Engineering degree; the description lists a Bachelor’s degree and an Engineering Graduate degree in Civil.
• At least 10 years of QA/QC experience in contracting/construction; the description also specifies 15+ years on large-scale building and villa projects.
• Construction industry experience and GCC experience are mandatory.
• Quality management certifications are preferred.

• Strong knowledge of quality management systems and quality control tools and techniques.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality management software.

Key responsibilities

• Develop project quality systems and procedures, oversee site inspections, and conduct quality audits.
• Review quality reports and testing procedures; coordinate with project teams to meet quality standards.
• Investigate quality issues, implement corrective actions, and liaise with clients and consultants.
• Ensure compliance with standards and regulations; review material submittals and shop drawings.
• Maintain quality records and documentation, including non-conformance and corrective-action records, and prepare monthly performance reports.
