Responsibilities
- Review requirements and user stories and help define test scope and acceptance criteria.
- Design test cases and test data for functional, regression, and integration testing.
- Execute tests, record results, and track defects with development teams until resolution.
- Report test progress and quality status to the QA lead and project stakeholders.
- Contribute to improving test practices and documentation.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of software testing or QA experience, including test case writing and execution for web or digital applications.
- Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools; understanding of the software development life cycle and Agile delivery.
- Attention to detail and clear written communication; ISTQB certification is an asset.
- Fluent spoken and written French and professional English are required.
- Québec residence and ability to attend the Montréal client headquarters 1–2 days weekly are required.
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada and able to complete client-required background checks.
Schedule and workplace
- Hybrid schedule: on site at the client's Montréal headquarters 1–2 days per week and remote the remaining days.
- Monday to Friday, aligned with Montréal business hours.
