Responsibilities

• Review requirements and user stories, and help define test scope and acceptance criteria.
• Design and write test cases and test data for functional, regression and integration testing.
• Run tests and record results accurately.
• Log, reproduce and follow up on defects with development teams until they are resolved.
• Report test progress and quality status to the QA lead and project stakeholders.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of test practices and documentation.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance.
• Experience writing and running test cases for web or digital applications.
• Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools.
• Understanding of the software development life cycle and Agile delivery.
• Attention to detail and clear written communication.
• ISTQB certification is an asset.
• Fluent French, spoken and written, and professional English (see language requirements).
• Québec resident, able to travel to the client's Montréal headquarters 1 to 2 days per week.
• Legally entitled to work in Canada and able to complete the client's background checks. A criminal record is only considered where it relates to the job, in line with the Québec Charter of human rights and freedoms.
• Language requirements
• French is the working language of this role and of the client. Professional English is also required because the role involves regular written and spoken collaboration with TTC Global delivery, practice and support teams based outside Québec, including elsewhere in Canada, the United States and the United Kingdom.
• Schedule and location
• Monday to Friday, aligned to Montréal business hours (Eastern Time). On site at the client's Montréal headquarters 1 to 2 days per week for meetings and testing work; remote the remaining days.
• Employment type: open to full time or contract.
