  • Validate FHIR profiles; test failures, retries, queues, duplicates, timeouts, and recovery.
  • Perform database checks where needed; prepare test scenarios, cases, data, and execution evidence; track and retest defects.
  • Collaborate with delivery teams, review requirements, identify test gaps, and support release or post-deployment validation when required.

Mandatory technical skills

  • Hands-on Postman or similar API-testing tool experience; good understanding of REST APIs, JSON, and XML.
  • Knowledge of HL7 v2.x messaging, including MSH, PID, PV1, ORC, OBR, OBX, and ACK.
  • Understanding of FHIR concepts, FHIR REST APIs, common resources, and relationships.
  • Knowledge of healthcare integration and interoperability, SQL/database validation, and Jira or equivalent defect-management tools.
  • Able to troubleshoot integration failures using logs, API responses, and message payloads.

  • Healthcare security, PHI, and HIPAA-related requirements.
  • API or integration test automation with Postman/Newman, REST Assured, Playwright, Python, or equivalent.
  • API performance testing or high-volume message-processing experience is an added advantage.
