Role Overview
We are seeking a QA Automation Tester to drive automated testing and performance validation across cloud-based applications.
You will work across infrastructure, SRE, and application teams to ensure systems are stable, scalable, and production-ready through robust automation frameworks.
This role combines
automation testing, performance engineering, and infrastructure awareness
, supporting multiple squads and projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement automated regression testing frameworks, primarily using Bash and scripting tools
- Conduct stress and load testing of APIs and applications (e.g., using Postman or similar tools)
- Collaborate with infrastructure teams to validate environment configurations, SKUs, and scaling behaviour
- Work closely with SRE and security teams to ensure reliability and compliance standards are met
- Execute end-to-end testing across multiple applications and environments
- Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous validation
- Support testing across multiple squads and concurrent projects
- Identify performance bottlenecks and recommend optimisation strategies
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong experience in QA automation testing
- Hands-on expertise in automation scripting (Bash preferred)
- Experience with API testing tools (Postman or similar)
- Knowledge of performance and load testing methodologies
- Familiarity with cloud environments (Azure or AWS)
- Exposure to SRE principles, system reliability, and monitoring
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing integration
- Ability to work in fast-paced, multi-team environments
