QA Automation Engineer (Playwright & JMeter)

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Playwright automated test scripts.
• Perform functional, regression, smoke, and end-to-end web application testing.
• Create and execute JMeter performance and load scenarios; analyze results, bottlenecks, and performance issues.
• Prepare test plans, cases, data, and reports; identify, track, document, and retest defects.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA team members to resolve issues.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and support continuous testing.
• Ensure test coverage, application stability, and quality standards.

Required qualifications

• 3–4 years of relevant QA and test automation experience, including practical experience with both Playwright and JMeter.
• Experience testing web applications and analyzing execution results.
• Knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript or another suitable scripting language.
• Understanding of SDLC, STLC, defect lifecycle, and test design techniques.
• Experience with REST API testing and tools such as Postman; familiarity with Git and source code management.
• Basic experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar CI/CD tools, and basic SQL for data validation.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills; willingness to work from the Noida office.

Preferred qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or a related discipline is preferred.
• Cross-browser testing, parallel execution, performance metrics, Agile/Scrum, and test reporting or automation framework development are preferred or additional skills.
