The role is for a senior Python developer focused on computer vision, NVIDIA DeepStream, and TensorRT.
The developer owns high-throughput video ingestion, real-time detection and tracking, and edge-to-cloud inference optimization.
Solutions must deliver low latency, high concurrency, and reliability on NVIDIA Jetson and datacenter GPU hardware.
Key responsibilities
- Design and optimize real-time computer vision pipelines with NVIDIA DeepStream SDK and GStreamer for multi-stream camera ingestion.
- Convert, quantize, and deploy deep learning models using TensorRT to improve throughput and latency.
- Implement object detection, tracking, facial recognition, anomaly detection, and spatial analytics.
- Integrate telemetry, metadata, and event triggers with backend systems using REST APIs, WebSockets, MQTT, PostgreSQL, and Redis.
- Profile memory, GPU, and CPU performance across edge deployments and enterprise servers.
- Maintain Python/C++ engineering standards, review code, and mentor engineers and interns.
Technical requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience, including 3+ years in production computer vision and video analytics.
- Expert Python proficiency; working knowledge of or integration experience with C++.
- Strong command of PyTorch or TensorFlow, OpenCV, and object tracking frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with DeepStream, TensorRT, GStreamer, and RTSP, RTMP, and ONVIF protocols.
- Experience with NVIDIA Jetson edge devices and enterprise datacenter GPUs.
- Proficiency with Docker, Ubuntu or RHEL Linux system administration, and edge orchestration tools.
