Purchasing Executive – Drywall, Ceiling & Partition Materials

Role overview

Procurement and supplier management

• Develop procurement strategies and manage RFQs, negotiations, contracts, purchase orders, and delivery tracking.
• Source and negotiate with local and international suppliers to secure competitive pricing, consistent quality, and reliable lead times.
• Forecast demand with sales, project, and warehouse teams to maintain appropriate stock levels.
• Manage supplier agreements, payment terms, volume discounts, and relationships with freight and logistics partners.

Cost, quality, and compliance

• Track market trends, material prices, and currency changes; manage procurement budgets, cost reports, and supplier performance KPIs.
• Coordinate incoming inspections with QA/QC and warehouse teams and ensure materials meet project specifications and quality, safety, and environmental requirements.
• Support imported-material freight and GCC customs clearance, and comply with company policies, trade rules, and applicable GCC import laws.

Experience and skills

• At least 2 years of purchasing or procurement experience; drywall and ceiling systems experience is preferred.
• Proven supplier sourcing, contract negotiation, and vendor management experience with regional and international suppliers.
• Familiarity with GCC import and export, customs, and logistics processes; proficiency in ERP or procurement software and MS Excel.

Education and language

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Civil or Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Fluent English is required; Arabic is an advantage. Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills are required.

Preferred qualification

• A valid UAE driving license is preferred. Transferable residency or work visa is mentioned as applicable.
