Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Purchase Specialist role based in Riyadh for Albaap عالباب لإدارة المرافق.
The Purchase Specialist will manage end-to-end purchasing activities, including sourcing suppliers, requesting and evaluating quotations, and preparing accurate purchase orders in line with company policies.
The role involves tracking order status, coordinating with internal departments to consolidate requirements, and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services.
The Purchase Specialist will monitor inventory levels, support vendor evaluation and performance reviews, and help negotiate favorable terms and pricing.
The role also includes maintaining up-to-date purchasing records, supporting budgeting and cost-control efforts, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and company procedures.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of purchasing processes, including sourcing, quotation comparison, and supplier follow-up.
- Experience with purchasing management, orders, documentation, approvals, and record-keeping.
- Practical experience in purchasing within facilities management, constructionز
- Solid analytical skills to compare offers, analyze costs, and support data-driven purchasing decisions.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities to interact effectively with vendors and internal stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple requests and deadlines.
- Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineer, Electrical Engineer, Control system technology or related field is preferred.
- Fluency in English is required; Arabic language skills are highly beneficial.
- Previous experience in a purchasing.
Note
1- The specialist may be required to conduct field visits to shops/markets to receive and purchase goods directly as needed, in accordance with company policy and established procedures.
2- They will monitor and observe the workflow of their drivers/delivery teams, ensuring adherence to schedules, instructions, and delivery deliverables.
3- The workload will be distributed with 60% in the office and 30% off-site (field visits, supply monitoring, receiving/delivery, and following up on procurement requirements on the ground).
4- They will implement a procurement priority schedule to ensure orders are organized according to urgency and need, while ensuring that purchases are completed and delivered well in advance of actual demand to avoid any delays that could disrupt workflow.
