This full-time, on-site Low Current Project Engineer role is based in Riyadh and focuses on the design, coordination, and execution of low current systems for facility management projects.
The role includes preparing and reviewing technical designs, drawings, and specifications for systems such as CCTV, access control, fire alarm, BMS, data networks, and related low current solutions.
The Low Current Project Engineer will manage day-to-day project activities, including site supervision, coordinating with contractors and vendors, monitoring progress, and ensuring compliance with codes, standards, and client requirements.
Responsibilities
include preparing project documentation, BOQs, reports, and technical submittals, as well as supporting testing, commissioning, and handover activities.
The role also involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues, optimize designs, control costs, and meet project timelines and quality targets.
Qualifications
- Strong project-focused skills in Project Engineering, Project Planning, and Project Management for low current and electrical systems.
- Solid technical foundation in Electrical Engineering, ideally with experience in low current systems (e.g., CCTV, access control, fire alarm, BMS, data networks).
- Effective Communication skills, including clear reporting, documentation, and stakeholder coordination across multidisciplinary teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related engineering field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience working on construction or facility management projects in a site-based, on-site engineering capacity.
- Familiarity with relevant international and local standards and codes related to low current and electrical installations.
- Proficiency in engineering and project tools (e.g., AutoCAD or similar, MS Office, and project tracking software).
