Supports purchasing and production by ensuring materials, packaging, and products are ordered, tracked, and delivered on time.
Reports to the Purchase & Production Manager.
Purchasing and production coordination
- Request supplier quotations, compare prices, and prepare and send purchase orders after approval.
- Follow up on order confirmations, delivery dates, and production timelines; track shipments and update the manager.
- Coordinate artwork, specifications, and quantities with suppliers when required.
- Ensure production orders meet their schedules and report delays or issues promptly.
Inventory, records, and communication
- Monitor stock levels of products, packaging, and materials; alert the manager when items need reordering.
- Coordinate incoming deliveries with the warehouse.
- Maintain records of quotations, purchase orders, invoices, supplier details, and purchase and production tracking files.
- Prepare simple reports when requested and coordinate with warehouse, marketing, and retail teams as needed.
- Follow up on pending orders daily, keep records organized, and report problems or delays immediately.
Experience
- Two years of purchasing or assembling experience is preferred.
Employment and pay
- Full-time position.
- Pay is AED 4,000–6,000 per month.
