Purchase Manager

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end purchasing and procurement across pharmaceutical, healthcare, wellness, and related product categories.
• Build relationships with principals, manufacturers, distributors, and suppliers regionally and internationally.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and commercial agreements or contracts.
• Manage TMA and other supplier-related commercial arrangements.
• Manage stock availability, inventory levels, purchasing cycles, and working capital.
• Coordinate with warehouse, logistics, sales, finance, and regulatory teams.
• Support stock planning, expiry control, slow-moving items, and replenishment.
• Monitor market trends, supplier performance, product availability, and new product opportunities.
• Develop procurement strategies to improve cost efficiency, margins, service levels, and business growth.

Candidate Profile

• Have 7–10 years of relevant purchasing or procurement experience.
• Experience in pharma, healthcare, wellness, FMCG, retail, or distribution is preferred.
• Have strong UAE/GCC market experience and an established supplier network.
• Demonstrate expertise in negotiation, contracts, supplier management, inventory, and supply-chain operations.
• Have strong commercial acumen related to pricing, margins, payment terms, and agreements.
• Hold a bachelor's degree.
• A pharmaceutical or healthcare educational qualification is advantageous.
• Demonstrate strong communication, relationship-management, analytical, and negotiation skills.
• Immediate availability is preferred.

Compensation

• Pay is AED 25,000–35,000 per month.
