Role Summary

  • The Public Sector Specialist – Director plays a key role in supporting the growth of the company's Public Sector practice by combining deep domain expertise with business development and delivery leadership. The role is responsible for shaping strategic opportunities, supporting key government accounts, leading the delivery of complex consulting engagements, and contributing to the development of the firm's capabilities across the public sector.
  • Working closely with account leaders and capability teams, the Director serves as a trusted advisor to government clients, helping address strategic priorities while ensuring successful engagement delivery, client satisfaction, and sustainable business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide subject matter expertise across priority Public Sector domains, supporting the firm's consulting capabilities and market growth.
  • Lead and deliver strategic consulting engagements for government entities, ensuring high-quality outcomes, on-time delivery, and commercial success.
  • Support business development activities, including opportunity identification, qualification, solution design, proposal development, client presentations, and bid management.
  • Collaborate with account teams to expand existing government relationships through cross-selling and up-selling of consulting services.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior client stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor throughout the engagement lifecycle.
  • Partner with capability teams to develop integrated, innovative solutions tailored to client priorities and business challenges.
  • Contribute to the development of go-to-market strategies, sector offerings, and value propositions aligned with evolving government priorities.
  • Support the continuous enhancement of consulting methodologies, frameworks, and best practices across the Public Sector practice.
  • Mentor and coach consulting teams, fostering collaboration, capability development, and delivery excellence.

Experience & Qualifications

  • 8–12 years of consulting or industry experience supporting Public Sector organizations, government transformation, or related advisory services.
  • Proven experience leading or supporting the full consulting lifecycle, including business development, proposal development, solution design, and engagement delivery.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Business Administration, Technology, Data & Analytics, Public Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Strong experience working with government entities across the GCC region, with a solid understanding of regional public sector priorities and transformation agendas.
  • Demonstrated ability to build trusted client relationships and manage multiple senior stakeholders.
  • Strong commercial awareness with experience contributing to sales growth, account development, and strategic pursuits.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking capabilities.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced consulting environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Fluency in both Arabic and English is essential.
