We are seeking an experienced **Public Relations Officer (PRO)** to join our team in Abu Dhabi.
The ideal candidate must have strong hands-on experience in all UAE government-related procedures, including immigration, labour, and visa processing, with in-depth knowledge of UAE Labour Law and government systems.
1) Visa & Immigration Processing
- Handle all employment visa processes from start to finish
- Manage issuance and renewal of:
- o Work visaso Residence visaso Emirates ID
- Coordinate medical fitness tests and health insurance procedures
- Ensure all immigration processes are completed on time through relevant authorities**2) MOHRE (Ministry of Human Resources & Emiratisation)**
- Process all Ministry of Labour transactions
- Issue and renew work permits
- Open and close company establishment files
- Manage and attest employment contracts in compliance with UAE regulations
3) Immigration Authorities
- Liaise directly with immigration and residency authorities
- Handle visa applications, renewals, cancellations, and status changes
- Resolve any visa-related issues efficiently
4) UAE Labour Law Compliance
- Strong knowledge of **UAE Labour Law and employment regulations**
- Ensure all processes comply with government rules and updates
- Stay up to date with legal and procedural changes
5) Government Relations & Coordination
- Coordinate with government departments and authorized typing centers
- Represent the company in all government-related matters
- Follow up on all applications to ensure timely completion
6) Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain accurate records of all government transactions
- Track expiry dates of visas, Emirates IDs, and labour cards
- Prepare regular reports on ongoing and completed applications
7) Administrative Support
- Support HR and administration with all PRO-related tasks
- Assist with onboarding and visa processing for new employees
- Ensure smooth and efficient government procedures across the company
Requirements
- 5 to 7 years of experience as a PRO in the UAE
- Strong experience with immigration, MOHRE, and visa procedures
- Excellent knowledge of UAE Labour Law and government systems
- Previous experience in construction or project-based companies is an advantage
- Strong communication and follow-up skills
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks efficiently
