MantraDoc supports care for both common health concerns, such as colds, flu, and back pain, and chronic conditions like diabetes, asthma, and hypertension.
By emphasizing convenience, accessibility, and quality, MantraDoc helps patients receive expert, personalized care from the comfort of their homes.
Role Description
This is a part-time, remote role for a PT – Physiotherapist at MantraDoc.
The Physiotherapist will provide virtual physiotherapy consultations, including assessment of patient history, functional limitations, and musculoskeletal conditions via video or telehealth platforms.
Responsibilities
include developing individualized treatment plans, guiding patients through exercise programs, offering injury prevention and rehabilitation strategies, and monitoring progress over time.
The role also involves documenting clinical encounters, maintaining accurate electronic records, collaborating with other healthcare professionals on the platform, and educating patients on self-management, ergonomics, and safe home-based exercises.
The PT – Physiotherapist will be expected to deliver patient-centered, evidence-based care while adhering to professional and regulatory standards for remote practice.
Qualifications
- Licensed/registered Physiotherapist (PT) in good standing with the relevant regulatory body, with authorization to provide telehealth services in the applicable region.
- Demonstrated clinical experience in musculoskeletal, orthopedic, or sports physiotherapy, with strong skills in assessment, treatment planning, and rehabilitation.
- Proficiency in delivering care via telehealth platforms, including clear verbal communication, patient instruction, and remote monitoring of exercise performance.
- Strong patient education and counseling skills, with the ability to explain conditions, treatment options, and home exercise programs in accessible language.
- Comfort with digital tools, electronic health records, and secure communication systems to document sessions and manage patient information.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage a part-time schedule, and maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality.
- Experience working with diverse patient populations and conditions, including chronic pain, post-surgical rehabilitation, and mobility limitations.
- Preferred: Previous experience in telehealth or digital health platforms and familiarity with virtual triage or interdisciplinary collaboration.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physiotherapy (or equivalent) from an accredited institution; ongoing professional development or specialty certifications are an advantage.
