Role Description
This is a part-time, remote Physiotherapist role focused on delivering high-quality, patient-centered care through virtual consultations.
The Physiotherapist will assess patient conditions, review medical histories, and develop individualized treatment plans for musculoskeletal, neurological, and other physical health concerns.
Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting online assessments, demonstrating and prescribing therapeutic exercises, monitoring progress, and adjusting care plans based on patient response.
The role also involves educating patients on injury prevention, rehabilitation techniques, and lifestyle modifications to support long-term physical well-being.
The Physiotherapist will collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed, maintain accurate clinical documentation, and adhere to professional and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Licensed Physiotherapist/Physical Therapist with a valid and unrestricted registration in the relevant jurisdiction.
- Demonstrated experience in musculoskeletal, orthopedic, sports, or neurological rehabilitation in clinical or virtual settings.
- Strong assessment, treatment planning, and therapeutic exercise prescription skills, including the ability to adapt programs for remote care.
- Excellent communication, active listening, and patient education skills, with the ability to explain clinical concepts clearly in a virtual environment.
- Comfort with telehealth platforms, electronic health records, and basic digital tools (video conferencing, secure messaging, documentation systems).
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage a part-time caseload independently and reliably.
- Commitment to ethical practice, evidence-based care, and continuous professional development.
- Preferred: Prior telehealth experience, exposure to chronic pain management or post-operative rehabilitation, and familiarity with multidisciplinary care models.
