- About Dubai Foundation for Women and Children:
- The Dubai Foundation for Women and Children is the first authorized non-profit shelter and humanitarian care in the United Arab Emirates to care for women and children who are victims of domestic violence, child abuse, and victims of human trafficking.
- It was established in late 2007 in order to provide victims with immediate shelter, protection and support services, in accordance with international human rights conventions.
- Execute approved psychometric assessments on all assigned clients by the management.
- Prepare and produce psychometric reports for the assigned cases.
- Conduct mental and psychological health screeening for all internal clients admitted in the hostel.
- Consult reference material such as textbooks, manuals, and journals in order to identify symptoms, to make diagnoses, and to develop approaches to treatment
- Counsel internal & external clients regarding problems such as stress and family situations, in order to modify behaviour and/or to improve personal, social, and vocational adjustment
- A Master Degree in Psychology or any relevant major pertaining to Psychology Services such as Counselling, Social Work, etc.
- A Minimum of 5 years of work experience in the field of Mental Health, with a particular emphasis on trauma
