The role prepares technical and commercial proposals, reviews tender documents, estimates costs, and coordinates timely submissions.
Tendering and proposal work
- Analyze tender documents, BOQs, drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
- Prepare technical and commercial proposals, tender submissions, and required supporting documents.
- Review project scope, specifications, terms and conditions, and contractual requirements.
- Follow up on submitted proposals and coordinate responses to clarifications.
Estimation and coordination
- Prepare and review BOQs, quantity take-offs, cost estimates, rate analyses, project budgets, and cost sheets.
- Obtain and compare quotations from contractors, suppliers, and vendors.
- Coordinate with Sales, CRM, Project, Purchase, Accounts, and Engineering teams.
- Identify cost variations, exclusions, risks, and commercial requirements; maintain proposal and tender records.
- Support management with project feasibility and profitability evaluations.
Required qualifications and skills
- The posting specifies 3–5 years of experience.
- Good knowledge of BOQ, estimation, costing, rate analysis, tendering, and proposal preparation is required.
- Ability to read civil or architectural drawings and strong Excel skills are required.
- A B.E., B.Tech, or Diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field is required.
- Analytical, communication, negotiation, coordination, and attention-to-detail skills are requested.
Preferred qualifications
- Knowledge of AutoCAD is preferred.
- Experience in real estate, construction, infrastructure, tendering, estimation, or project costing is preferred.
