Site Execution
- Supervise daily civil construction activities at the project site.
- Execute work according to approved architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
- Supervise RCC, reinforcement, shuttering, concreting, masonry, plastering, and finishing works.
- Check line, level, alignment, dimensions, and verticality of construction work.
- Ensure proper construction sequencing and timely completion of assigned activities.
Structural and Finishing Work
- Supervise reinforcement, shuttering, and concreting activities.
- Check reinforcement against structural drawings before concrete pouring.
- Monitor concrete quality, cube testing, curing, and deshuttering practices.
- Supervise blockwork, plastering, waterproofing, tiling, flooring, painting, and other finishing activities.
- Prepare and monitor snag lists and ensure timely rectification.
Contractor and Quality Management
- Supervise contractors, subcontractors, supervisors, and labor teams.
- Monitor manpower deployment, productivity, daily work allocation, targets, quality, and timelines.
- Conduct site inspections and maintain quality checklists and inspection records.
- Coordinate with QA/QC personnel, consultants, and MEP teams during inspections and work execution.
Materials, Measurement, and Planning
- Prepare material requirements and coordinate with stores and procurement for availability.
- Monitor material consumption, verify received materials, and minimize wastage.
- Take measurements, verify contractor bills, and assist with BOQs and quantity estimates.
- Prepare work plans, monitor progress against targets, and maintain Daily Progress Reports.
Documentation and Safety
- Maintain drawings, revisions, site instructions, inspection reports, and work records.
- Coordinate with architects, structural and MEP consultants, contractors, and vendors.
- Ensure workers follow safety procedures and use appropriate PPE.
- Report unsafe practices and hazards and support compliance with applicable standards.
Required Qualification
- B.E., B.Tech, or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in residential construction.
- Experience in residential apartments, high-rise, or multi-storey projects is preferred.
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of RCC, shuttering, reinforcement, and concreting.
- Knowledge of masonry, plastering, waterproofing, and finishing works.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings.
- Knowledge of quantity estimation, measurements, and BOQs.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Excel.
- Knowledge of DPR, WPR, and project documentation is an advantage.
