About This Role

POSITION SUMMARY

The main responsibilities of the Proposal Engineer are as follows: Based on the on-site construction phase and the proposals already compiled by Chinese engineers, sort out and edit English versions of proposals that meet the requirements of GES and ADNOC, and timely complete the submission for inspection and approval procedures. Communicate with GES and ADNOC about the problems existing in the proposals and feed back the information in a timely manner to ensure the completion of proposal submission for inspection and approval before the start of construction, and establish a proposal ledger and track the status of proposals.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Have more than 3 years of on-site construction proposal compilation experience, be familiar with the construction procedures of various disciplines, and hold a UAE professional qualification certificate.
• Solve technical problems in the proposals.
• Supervise the compilation and approval process of proposals to ensure compliance with design drawings, specifications and GES/ADNOC requirements.
• Address and resolve defects in the proposals, and follow up on the approval status and implementation of the proposals.
• Review the construction proposal compilation plan, and coordinate the compilation and approval of proposals to avoid delays in on-site construction.
• Participate in the investigation of safety and quality accidents and the formulation of emergency plans.

OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Be fluent in English with unobstructed communication skills, and proficient in using CAD and Microsoft Office software.
• Training and guidance: Provide technical training and briefings for the construction team.
• Obey the work arrangements of the Manager of Construction Management Department and complete the work on time.
• Cross-departmental collaboration: Cooperate with other departments to provide technical support.

JOB INTERACTIONS AND WORKING RELATIONSHIP

• Report the compilation and approval status of proposals, existing problems and solutions to the Construction Manager; follow up with engineers to ensure the timely completion of proposal compilation, and assist engineers in revising the proposals.
• Communicate with GES and ADNOC engineers about the comments on proposal revision and approval progress, and timely complete the revision and approval of proposals to avoid impacting on-site construction.
• Communicate with local government departments to complete the proposal filing and certification required by the government departments.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED8,000.00 - AED11,000.00 per month
