Property Management Accountant

About This Role

Nantanawat is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Property Management Accountant to join our finance team in Doha. This role is responsible for overseeing the financial operations of property portfolios, ensuring accurate accounting of rental income, expenses, service charges, and overall asset performance. The ideal candidate brings strong accounting expertise combined with solid experience in real estate or property management finance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage full-cycle accounting for residential and commercial property portfolios
• Record and reconcile rental income, tenant deposits, and lease-related transactions
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for property assets
• Monitor property operating expenses, maintenance costs, and service charge allocations
• Track accounts receivable, ensuring timely rent collection and tenant follow-ups
• Support budgeting and forecasting for property management operations
• Reconcile bank accounts, landlord statements, and tenant ledgers
• Prepare financial reports for property owners, investors, and senior management
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal financial controls
• Assist in audit processes by providing accurate property-related documentation

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
• Proven experience in property management accounting or real estate finance
• Strong understanding of rental accounting, service charges, and reconciliations
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP systems
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills for coordination with tenants, vendors, and stakeholders

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in real estate companies, property developers, or facility management firms
• Familiarity with property management software and ERP platforms
• Knowledge of IFRS and real estate accounting practices
• Ability to manage multiple properties and financial deadlines efficiently
