Role Description
- This full-time, on-site Operations Manager position is based in Sharjah Emirate, United Arab Emirates.
- The Operations Manager will oversee day-to-day property management activities, including tenant relations, leasing administration, and property maintenance.
- They will manage budget planning, coordinate with vendors and service providers, and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- The role requires proactive problem-solving, team management, and the ability to streamline processes for optimal operational efficiency while upholding customer satisfaction standards.
- Some of the expected roles and duties include:
- Assist and support in the creation and organization of the office, utilizing past experiences and skills in adjacent industries to implement industry best practices and ensure legal requirements are met.
- Be involved in the implementation of industry leading programs and software, including property management, HR, payroll, and accounting softwares, in line with industry standard practices and governmental and legal requirements.
- Be involved in and advise on the requirement of relevant departments where necessary, including the distribution of roles and responsibilities, the assigning and implementation of standard operating procedures, and other administrative procedures, ensuring the office is structured in a professional and efficient manner.
- Monitoring the day-to-day operations of the office, ensuring seamless operations, adherence to the implemented procedures and internal documentation requirements.
- Ensure internal KPIs are met where required.
- Preparation of regular financial reports on each property to the landlord, including relevant updates and actions taken.
- Establishment of sub-contractual agreements when necessary to ensure all assets are in working order and condition for tenant satisfaction as well as minimizing depreciation of the assets.
Qualifications
- Operations management and team leadership skills
- Knowledge of property management practices, leasing processes, and tenant relations
- Experience in a property management company or role is required
- Experience with multiple industry standard softwares is an advantage
- Experience in a property development company and off-plan sales is an advantage
- Strong budgeting, financial planning, and reporting abilities
- Proficiency in vendor and service provider coordination
- Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with property management software and tools is an advantage
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Real Estate Management, or related field
- Familiarity with UAE real estate laws and regulations
- Familiarity with Sharjah real estate laws and regulations
- Languages: Proficiency in English required; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage
