Overview

Our client is a well-established and growing company specializing in architectural lighting, automation systems, and integrated building solutions across the UAE and wider Middle East region.

They are currently seeking a highly motivated Project & Wholesale Sales Executive to drive business growth, build strong market relationships, and identify new opportunities across commercial, residential, hospitality, landscape, and mixed-use developments.

The successful candidate will play a key role in expanding the company's presence within the UAE market by developing relationships with consultants, contractors, developers, procurement teams, retailers, distributors, and project stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities across project and wholesale sales channels
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with consultants, contractors, developers, architects, interior designers, procurement departments, retailers, and distributors.
  • Promote and sell architectural lighting solutions, lighting controls, automation systems, and integrated building technologies.
  • Generate project leads and follow opportunities from specification stage through project completion.
  • Develop wholesale sales channels by introducing products to lighting retailers, suppliers, distributors, and trading companies.
  • Conduct client meetings, product presentations, and technical introductions.
  • Collaborate closely with design, technical, and project teams to deliver tailored client solutions.
  • Prepare commercial proposals, quotations, and project submissions.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging business opportunities.
  • Support the company's expansion into contract furniture and interior fit-out related projects.
  • Achieve and exceed agreed sales targets and business development KPIs.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3-5 years of UAE sales experience within lighting, electrical products, automation systems, building materials, interior solutions, furniture, fit-out, or related industries.
  • Strong network within the UAE construction and project market.
  • Existing relationships with consultants, contractors, developers, procurement teams, retailers, distributors, and suppliers.
  • Proven track record in generating new business and closing sales opportunities.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Self-driven, proactive, and capable of working independently in a client-facing role.
  • UAE driving license preferred.
  • Arabic language skills are highly desirable.
