AECOM seeks an experienced MEP Quantity Surveyor in Dubai to support project financial success through cost estimation, contract management, and project cost optimization.
Responsibilities
- Support MEP pre-contract services from concept through detailed design, including measurement, cost planning, and construction BoQs.
- Help prepare tender and contract documents and contribute to value engineering and viability studies.
- Assess financial claims and recommend resolutions; support claim settlement.
- Evaluate variations, additional works, field changes, additions, and omissions, and include them in monthly cost reports.
- Prepare and price change orders and negotiate agreements with clients and contractors as needed.
- Conduct cost estimates and viability studies; assist with negotiations, arbitration, and other dispute resolution.
Qualifications
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Quantity Surveying.
- Five years of MEP Quantity Surveyor experience in the Middle East.
Work location
- The listed work location model is on-site.
- New hires must attend an in-person Day 1 onboarding at an AECOM office.
