Project Surveyor II

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Manage post-contract cost tracking, forecasting, and budget control.
• Evaluate contractor claims, variations, and change orders; prepare related analysis and documentation.
• Prepare cost reports, financial statements, project valuations, final accounts, and settlement documentation.
• Monitor project expenditure, identify cost variances, and recommend cost optimization.
• Negotiate contractual disputes and claims and maintain contract records and correspondence.
• Conduct site inspections and measurements to verify completion and quality.
• Coordinate with project teams, contractors, architects, and clients on financial and contractual matters.
• Ensure compliance with contracts, local regulations, and industry standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or another construction-related field.
• 4–5 years of postgraduate experience.
• 2–3 years of Middle East experience.

Onboarding

• New hires must attend an in-person Day 1 onboarding at an AECOM office as a condition of employment.
