Lead architectural projects from concept through construction documentation and delivery.
Project duties
- Develop and manage architectural project schedules.
- Lead design from the conceptual phase through construction documentation; prepare detailed architectural drawings and plans.
- Coordinate with clients to define requirements and objectives.
- Collaborate with engineers and consultants to integrate structural, mechanical, and electrical requirements.
- Oversee construction phases and conduct site visits to check compliance with design specifications.
- Manage project budgets and schedules; ensure adherence to building codes, zoning laws, and industry standards.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior architectural staff.
- Maintain accurate project documentation; review and approve contractor submittals and shop drawings.
- Handle project-related communication and negotiations with clients and contractors.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field.
- Proven track record managing architectural projects and a strong portfolio demonstrating innovative, functional design solutions.
- At least five years of experience in architectural design and project management; five years of construction-site experience.
- Proficiency in CAD software and other design tools.
- Strong understanding of building codes and regulations.
- Experience with project budgeting and scheduling; ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience with sustainable design practices.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, problem-solving, critical-thinking, organization, time-management, attention-to-detail, and stakeholder-coordination skills.
Compensation
- Pay is AED 10,000 to AED 15,000 per month.
Work location
- Work is in person.
