The Senior Project Engineer coordinates engineering and technical disciplines and manages project activities from planning through completion.
The role aims to ensure site progress, accuracy, and quality.
Responsibilities
- Plan, schedule, forecast, resource, and manage assigned project activities and coordinate manpower and subcontractors.
- Monitor compliance with codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards, and specifications.
- Work with clients to interpret needs and represent them in the field.
- Control quality across budget, schedule, plans, and personnel performance; report project status regularly.
- Assign responsibilities, mentor the project team, and coordinate with project participants to provide technical support.
- Review engineering deliverables and initiate corrective actions.
- Provide engineering solutions, drawings, material submittals, and MEP coordination; supervise site work, manpower, and subcontractors.
Requirements and skills
- At least 10 years of project management experience and 10 years of GCC experience, including the last 5 years in the UAE.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and a current engineer license.
- Driving license and own car.
- Excellent knowledge of design and visualization software such as AutoCAD and advanced MS Office skills.
- Hands-on experience applying UAE local authority requirements and implementing HSE regulations on site.
- Ability to work across multiple disciplines, with project management, supervision, decision-making, leadership, communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
Pay
- AED 8,000–15,000 per month.
