Project Procurement Manager

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end procurement from early development through execution and contract closeout.
• Define contracting strategies and technical and commercial scopes with engineering and project teams.
• Manage tenders, supplier evaluation, negotiations and awards for equipment and construction services.
• Manage contract execution, change control, claims, risk mitigation and on-site commercial follow-up.
• Maintain supplier and contractor relationships and coordinate cross-functional input.
• Align procurement with Group Category strategies and improve processes.

Qualifications

• Experience in large, complex energy or infrastructure procurement, ideally across multiple technologies.
• Proven contract management experience during construction or execution.
• Strong commercial and legal background; experience with EPC, BOP/BOS, NEC, FIDIC or similar contract models.
• Familiarity with UK/Irish and/or global supplier markets and understanding of supply chains, manufacturing, logistics and cost drivers.
• Degree in engineering, business or a related field; fluent English.
• Experience with procurement platforms such as Jaegger is an advantage.
• Applicant must be eligible for security clearance and authorisation.
