Vanderlande is hiring a Project Procurement Manager in Dubai.
The role is the procurement contact during project sales and execution, supporting timely delivery, supplier performance, and risk management.
The position works with engineering, sales, and project execution teams.
Responsibilities
- Shape sales offers and procurement conditions, challenge non-standard specifications, and identify long-lead items that could affect feasibility.
- Execute procurement in line with the Supply Plan and category strategies to deliver required products and services on time and in full.
- Advise on supplier and product alternatives when specifications change; select new suppliers when existing options are unsuitable.
- Manage RFx events, including documentation, proposal evaluation, should-cost modelling coordination, negotiations, and supplier selection.
- Update procurement information in the project Supply Plan and help minimize project risk and cost.
Requirements
- 5–7 years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, or project execution support in technical or engineering-focused organizations.
- Strong procurement process, RFx, and supplier performance management knowledge.
- Analytical ability to assess requirements, supplier performance, and risks; experience with escalations and mitigation strategies.
- Negotiation and cost-saving capability while balancing risk and operational needs.
- Able to work independently; effective communication and collaboration with stakeholders.
- Able to travel internationally up to 5% of the time.
