Role overview

Hands-on Technical Project Manager owning timelines, scope, quality, and client relationships for assigned projects.

The role works across engineering and data teams and serves as the primary client contact throughout project delivery.

Project delivery

  • Own end-to-end delivery, including planning, resourcing, sprint and milestone tracking, risk management, and go-live.
  • Translate client requirements into scope documents, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Coordinate engineering, data, design, and QA teams to sequence work, remove blockers, and meet delivery dates.
  • Maintain project plans, RAID logs, status trackers, change requests, and release notes.
  • Track estimates and flag scope creep, resource gaps, and schedule risks early and in writing.

Client servicing

  • Act as the day-to-day contact for clients across assigned projects.
  • Run status calls, demos, walkthroughs, and review meetings; circulate minutes and action items.
  • Explain technical constraints in business language and translate client expectations into actionable internal briefs.
  • Handle escalations with a resolution path and internal alignment before making commitments.
  • Identify potential scope extensions and additional engagements for leadership.

Process and governance

  • Drive consistent project-management practices, templates, and reporting formats.
  • Maintain leadership reporting, including weekly dashboards, delivery health, and utilization.
  • Contribute technical delivery feasibility inputs to estimates and proposals for new business.

Required experience and skills

  • 4–7 years of project-management or technical-delivery experience, ideally in technology services, digital, analytics, or product engineering.
  • Technical literacy covering solution architecture, APIs, databases, data pipelines, and web/app development cycles; coding is not required.
  • Exposure to Python/SQL scripting or hands-on no-code/low-code platform experience.
  • Active interest in AI and emerging technology, with a view on applying it to client problems.
  • Proven client-facing experience with direct relationship and communication ownership.
  • Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum and Waterfall, plus judgment about which approach fits an engagement.
  • Hands-on experience with Jira, Asana, ClickUp, Trello, MS Project, Confluence, or equivalent.
  • Strong written communication and the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and priorities.

Good to have

  • Exposure to data analytics, business intelligence, marketing technology, or AI/ML-led projects.
  • Experience with cross-functional creative, media, and technology teams or offshore/distributed teams.

Pay

  • Pay is ₹800,000–₹1,000,000 per year.
