Principal Electrical Design Engineer
to join our growing team delivering hyperscale and mission-critical data centre projects across the UAE and KSA.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead electrical design and design reviews for large-scale data centre and mission-critical projects
- Oversee power distribution, lighting, lighting controls, fire alarm, emergency lighting, structured cabling and security systems
- Coordinate multidisciplinary design teams, consultants, contractors and clients
- Conduct independent design reviews and ensure compliance with local and international standards
- Provide technical leadership on equipment selection, procurement and value engineering initiatives
- Liaise with authorities and support design approvals
- Mentor and develop junior engineers while ensuring high-quality project delivery
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 8 years' experience in electrical building services design
- **Proven experience delivering hyperscale, colocation or mission-critical data centre projects**
- Experience leading complex, multidisciplinary engineering design projects
- Strong knowledge of power distribution systems, electrical infrastructure and applicable international standards
- Proficiency in ETAP, Amtech, Hevacomp, DIALux, AutoCAD and Revit
- Strong communication, coordination and stakeholder management skills
