Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
- Significant experience in risk and compliance projects.
- 10+ years of overall IT experience, including at least five years in banking.
- Understand project management principles, methodologies, and practices; applicable methodologies include Waterfall, Hybrid, or Agile.
- PMI certification or equivalent is an advantage.
- Techno-functional capability, cross-functional collaboration, problem-solving, and negotiation skills are required.
- Hands-on Microsoft Project experience and MPP knowledge are required.
- Strong verbal and written communication and stakeholder management across levels, including senior managers, are required.
- Familiarity with project performance monitoring principles and metrics is required.
- In-depth banking and technology knowledge and cross-functional team experience are required.
- Experience managing teams of more than 5–10 people is required.
Key Accountabilities
- Deliver projects successfully by aligning IT, business, operations, and vendors for timely, high-quality delivery.
- Manage project scope, time, and budget.
- Manage project initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and control, and closure.
- Handle at least three projects concurrently.
- Create and execute project work plans with the team and monitor deliverables.
- Manage day-to-day project operations and resolve challenges to enable on-time delivery.
- Collaborate and communicate with stakeholders and support customer satisfaction.
- Keep project documents complete and appropriately stored.
- Monitor projects and provide periodic senior-management updates.
- Report project status, challenges, risks, and mitigation plans.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Preferred Risk-Application Background
- Experience with risk applications such as Credit Risk Management Standards, data delivery for model implementation, or model lifecycle management is preferred.
