Project Manager – Interior & Fit-Out

Role overview

Project delivery

• Plan, manage, and execute interior fit-out projects from start to completion.
• Coordinate clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Prepare schedules, budgets, resource plans, and progress reports.
• Monitor site activities for compliance with drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Manage costs, procurement, material delivery, and resource allocation.

Site and handover management

• Identify risks, resolve site issues, and ensure timely execution.
• Supervise site teams, engineers, and subcontractors.
• Ensure compliance with UAE safety regulations and project requirements.
• Conduct inspections, progress meetings, and quality checks.
• Manage documentation, variations, snagging, and final handover.

Qualifications and experience

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, architecture, interior design, or a related field.
• 5–8 years of interior fit-out and project management experience; the posting also specifies five years as a Project Manager.
• Experience managing commercial, residential, hospitality, or retail fit-out projects.

Skills and tools

• Knowledge of UAE construction standards, materials, finishes, and fit-out processes.
• Ability to interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
• Leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of project planning, budgeting, and cost control.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, and Microsoft Office.

Additional qualifications
