Requirements

  • Onsite with flexible schedule and accommodation for limited travel. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, Project Management, or a related field. 5+ years of project management, project controls, engineering, or technical program experience. Experience managing or supporting a DOE-funded project, DOE award, or other government-facing technical project. Knowledge of project management principles and common project management tool sets, including cost and schedule reporting, earned value management, and milestone tracking. Demonstrated experience preparing recurring reports and deliverables for government or other external stakeholders under fixed submission deadlines. Exceptional organizational and communication skills, with the ability to coordinate inputs across multiple functional organizations and manage concurrent deliverables. Ability to identify reporting, schedule, and data-quality risks and drive timely resolution. U.S. Citizenship.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting a DOE cooperative agreement, Other Transaction Agreement, or comparable Federal financial assistance instrument. Familiarity with Federal award administration and procurement requirements, including 2 CFR 200 and DOE reporting requirements. Experience in the commercial nuclear, power generation, or large-scale capital projects industry. Proficient in project management and scheduling software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project). Familiarity with nuclear quality assurance requirements (NQA-1) and U.S. NRC regulation relating to commercial nuclear units. MS in Engineering, Business, or Project Management.
